ABC Nightline debate: Does Satan Exist?

Tonight on ABC Nightline Mark Driscoll (a pastor from Seattle) and Annie Lobert (founder of “Hookers for Jesus”) will debate Deepak Chopra (Oprah’s religion guru) and Carlton Pearson on the question “Does Satan Exist?”
This should be very interesting as Mark Driscoll is very smart, very Biblical, and very witty. Fire up your TiVo for ABC at 10:35pm CST.
I didn’t get to watch it last night because we were watching that awesome game played by Mizzou…but our friends Tivoed it and we watched some clips online. My favorite part:
Audience Member: “You stated earlier that all belief is a front for our insecurities.”
Deepak: “Correct.”
Audience Member: “Okay. Do you believe that?”
Deepak: “Yes.”
Audience Member: “Thank you.” Turns and walks away admist laughter.
so, what was the consensus on Nightline??
It was a good debate. Deepak Chopra and Pearson were pretty standard, predictable “postmodern spirituality” people but were generally courteous and articulate. Annie Lobert seemed to feel out of place. Driscoll was smart and I wish he’d have gotten to speak more.
