what’s the first thing you’d do as president?

September 29, 2008

Presidential campaigns always intrigue me.  I’ll go three years without really having much of an idea of what’s going on the House and the Senate or who’s an up-and-coming politician… and then a presidential election year rolls around and I find myself strangely addicted to everything surrounding these two men.

It’s interesting to me that two brilliant people who hopefully share a love for their country can have such opposing ideas.  Here’s the question of the day:

If you were elected, what’s the first thing you’d do as president?

Ken says he would make Congress & citizens write lines (over & over) of the Constitution until they realized and understood what the document ACTUALLY says about separation of church and state…

i would make employers give you a paid day off on your birthday, and/or make a Reformation Day to be a national holiday.

You would not “fall back” nor “spring forward”. With the high tech these farmers have now days….we don’t need to be changing time. Besides, it just drives Jaxie (my dog) NUTS!!
