Happy B-Day, DK!

February 22, 2010

This is Dennis Knisley, one of our incredible elders at The Bridge.

Out of mercy, I didn’t post this last night so it wouldn’t be viewed by the 100 or so email subscribers to the blog. (Click here to have new blog posts sent to your email account, by the way).  But yesterday was a biiiiiiiiiig birthday for someone special who may or may not be pictured below…

In all seriousness, I want to take a chance to express some heartfelt and humbling gratitude to one of the finest men I’ve ever known.  The Bridge has had an incredible year and that hasn’t been because of its pastor – it’s been because of it’s leadership as a whole.  No one will ever know the servant’s heart and humility that Dennis Knisley has had toward me through personal encouragement, conversations during elders’ meetings when I’ve been discouraged, and willingness to do whatever it took to wash the feet of The Bridge.

If I was choosing a handful of men to go to battle with, Dennis would be high on my list.  Happy Birthday, DK.  Love you, brother.  Oh, and did you know you’re doing the John Wall dance?

This picture was take before John Wall’s little dance. Therefore I believe that would mean that John Wall was doing the DK!

Don’t be silly. As everyone knows, John Wall possesses aseity. This dance has therefore been his eternally.

Wow, I’m not gonna lie, had to look “aseity” up. So you’re now giving John Wall “God like” qualities? Idolatry much?
