Missions Update from Jackson Team (pt 2)

February 28, 2010

From Eva Howard:

A team of five men lead by David Simmons worked on the 100 year old City House doing demolition. This was done to prepare to replace rotten floors, floor joists, toilet, and bathtub.  The remaining 22 mission team members worked at City Fellowship Baptist Church. This work involved organizing their massive amounts of clothing collected for their clothes closet, building walls, wiring electricity, building shelves, mudding walls, remodeling a kitchen, setting up classrooms, cleaning children’s toys, painting, painting and more painting.

We enjoyed a pizza party with several members of City Fellowship and their families for dinner. Then back to work to finish our 13 hour work day before heading back to hotel to pack our lunches for Sunday.  Early start time for Sunday to complete our tasks before 3:00pm worship time at City Fellowship.
